Takeshi Yoshida creates pottery in Mashiko Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.
Mr. Yoshida primarily creates series such as "Bronze," which has a texture like unearthed artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (White Mud Glaze), which resembles the walls of ancient ruins.
In recent years, he has also been producing rare "Akasai" (Red Glaze) works and a growing number of highly intricate, sculptural series.
Many of his works strongly convey a commitment to color and texture, with a unique appearance reminiscent of unearthed artifacts. This time, there are also creative ceramic works such as masks and candle holders.
On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

*Due to being handmade, there may be individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Additionally, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or inside the foot, but these are superficial kiln cracks resulting from firing and do not affect use.
Please be aware of this in advance.
