Eiko Fujita creates "tools for living" such as tableware, interiors, and accessories using the "forging" technique, which involves hammering metal to deform it.

Her works, mainly made of copper, brass, and tin, are vessels with a worldview, meticulously crafted over time with attention to every detail, including form, processing method, and texture.
Although Ms. Fujita also creates objects and tea ceremony utensils, a characteristic of her work is the abundance of modern pieces, as she proposes "metal works that can be easily incorporated into daily life, and a lifestyle with metal."

While metal vessels are not very common in Japan, they have appeared frequently throughout history and are still used daily in many countries abroad.
Ms. Fujita's metalworks are vessels that can be naturally added to dining tables and interiors.
Metal, a material different from ceramics and glass, provides new inspiration for daily life.

●Message from Ms. Fujita●
I believe that the aging of metals is not widely familiar to the general public.
Many people perceive "rust" as a negative thing, but it is actually the charm of metal's aging.
We offer paid services for redoing sulfide finishes and redoing beeswax coatings.
