Suzuki Hiromi Twilight Soba Choko

This is a work by Hiromi Suzuki, who creates pottery in Ogodo, Mashiko Town, Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture.
Ms. Suzuki focuses on creating simple pieces that are pleasant to the touch, easy to use, and match well when food is served.

The most striking feature of her work is the pale, delicate, and beautiful colors.
There are various expressions within the gentle gradations, and the impression changes completely depending on whether it's in a bright or dark place.

The names, such as "Sakura-iro" (cherry blossom color) and "Yoi-iro" (evening twilight color), also match the impression of the colors perfectly.
While it has a soft atmosphere, it is a sturdy and tasteful vessel.
