Yuka Owada flat plate, 9cm, Gekka

These are works by ceramic artist Yuka Owada.

Ms. Owada's vessels are characterized by their soft curves and delicate glaze. They gently change their expression in everyday light, and their presence is even more felt when touched.

In addition to her series featuring black and white designs on smooth semi-porcelain, she has recently introduced elegant color series, such as "Gekka," which has a moonlit hue, and "Usuzakura," which is green-grey with a touch of pink.

Her works, with their delicate and beautiful forms and glazes that express subtle colors, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Ms. Owada.
