Ohmada Yuka, Tall-footed Plate, Moonlight

This is a work by ceramic artist Yuka Owada.

Ms. Owada's vessels are characterized by their gentle curves and delicate glazes.
They subtly change expression in the light of everyday life, and touching them makes their presence even more palpable.

In addition to a series of designs mainly in black and white on smooth semi-porcelain, recent years have seen the creation of elegant colored series named "Gekka" (Moonlight), which has a moonlight-like hue, and "Usuzakura" (Pale Cherry Blossom), which is green-gray with a touch of pink.

Her works, with their attractive delicate and beautiful forms and glazes that express subtle colors, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Ms. Owada.
