Takeshi Yoshida crafts ceramics in Mashiko, Haga County, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida primarily creates series such as "Bronze," which has a texture reminiscent of excavated artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (White Mud Glaze), which resembles ancient ruins. In recent years, he has also expanded his repertoire to include rare "Akasai" (Red Glaze) works and an increasing number of series with highly elaborate sculptural elements.

Many of his works exhibit a strong dedication to color and texture, with a unique presence akin to excavated artifacts. This collection also features original ceramic pieces such as masks and candlesticks.

Conversely, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

*Due to being handmade, there may be individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Additionally, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or inside the footring;
however, these are superficial kiln cracks resulting from firing and do not affect usability.
Please be aware of this beforehand.
