This is a work by Taiga Oku, a glass artist active in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture.

His beautiful, transparent works, through which light passes, are created using blow-working (blown glass). With a dedication to what constitutes a beautiful form, his vessels can truly be described as "dignified," possessing a presence that lends an air of sophistication to any space they inhabit.

Oku creates his works with the philosophy: "Things used daily. Things you want to keep close. Simple and beautiful things."
