Nagasu Yohei, "Kousaiji" Ceramic Vase B

These are works by Yohei Nagakusa, who creates pottery in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture.

Nagakusa mainly produces works with refined forms and beautiful glaze finishes using porcelain clay.

There are three series: "Tansaiji" with a faint, translucent quality, "Ryusaiji" with a beautiful color transition, and "Kosaiji" with a delicate shimmer.

"Tansaiji" is a series that evokes the beauty and ephemerality of a spring, with delicate colors accumulating at the bottom of a transparent glassy surface.
"Ryusaiji" can be called Yohei Nagakusa's signature technique, featuring a dazzling and vibrant glaze gradation that, once seen, is unforgettable.
"Kosaiji" is the newest technique, giving an overall matte impression, but when you look closely, you'll find fantastic works with fine, layered glitter like lamé.
