Yoji Matsuoka Wine Glass Slim

These works are by Yoji Matsuoka, who has a blown glass studio in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Many of Matsuoka's vessels feature gentle, rounded designs, with some even given the title "Marui" (meaning "round").
In addition to the series of slightly amber-tinted clear glass, there is also a new series of colored glass.
They have a suitable thickness, feel very comfortable in the hand, and are suitable for everyday use.

When the transparent, round glass captures light, a warm spot is created in the space.
