Yoji Matsuoka Color Bowl "Obi" Green

These are works by Youji Matsuoka, who has a blown glass studio in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Many of Mr. Matsuoka's vessels feature gentle, rounded designs, and some are even titled "Marui" (meaning "round").
In addition to the clear glass series with a slight amber tint, there is also a new colored glass series.
They have a good thickness, fit very comfortably in the hand, and are suitable for everyday use.

When the transparent, round glass captures light, it creates a warm spot in the space.
