These works are by Yoji Matsuoka, who creates them at his blown glass studio in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Many of Matsuoka's vessels feature gentle, rounded designs, and some are even titled "Marui" (meaning "round").
In addition to the series of clear glass with a slightly amber tint, there is also a new series of colored glass.
They have an appropriate thickness, fit very well in the hand, and are suitable for everyday use.
When the transparent, round glass captures light, it creates a warm spot in the space.
We hope you will feel the tenderness imbued in Matsuoka's glass and experience a sense of peace in your daily life.
