These are works by Keicondo, a potter from Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element when discussing Kei's ceramics.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been working with in recent years.
Each color resonates with the others, and when combined, their individual charms stand out in this lineup.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
The "red" utilizes the natural color of the soil from Kei's hometown of Kasama.
The natural hue of the clay gently emerges through firing, creating an expression that combines both calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens our understanding of the material.
We hope you can experience the "soil character" of Keicondo's ceramics that emerges through each color.
