GOTO Nana Maru Yunomi (teacup) Green

These are ceramic pieces by Nana Goto, who creates pottery in Niigata.
Ms. Goto studied pottery in Kyoto and Kasama, and now works in her hometown of Niigata.
She creates pottery with the aim of producing pieces that fit into daily life, are used regularly, and bring a sense of comfort and healing through their use.

She primarily uses a potter's wheel for shaping, focusing on the warmth and softness unique to handmade items.
She mainly uses semi-porcelain clay, resulting in pieces with a moist, smooth texture.

The fine crystals show a pearl-like luster, and glossy and matte textures coexist.
