Takeshi Yoshida is a potter who creates his works in Mashiko Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.
Mr. Yoshida mainly creates two series: "Bronze," which has a texture like unearthed artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (White Clay Glaze), which resembles the walls of ancient ruins.
In recent years, he has also been producing rare "Akasai" (Red Glaze) works and an increasing number of series with highly elaborate sculptural elements.
Many of his works exhibit a strong dedication to color and texture, and their unique appearance, like unearthed artifacts, is distinctive.
This time, we also have creative ceramic pieces such as masks and candle holders.
On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.

*Due to being handmade, there are individual differences in size, color, pattern, and weight.
Also, there may be crack-like marks on the back of the vessel or on the inside of the footring,
but these are superficial kiln cracks resulting from firing and do not affect use.
Please be aware of this beforehand.
