Takeshi Yoshida, who creates pottery in Mashiko, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, a town famous for its pottery.

Mr. Yoshida mainly creates two series: "Bronze," which has a texture like unearthed artifacts, and "Hakudeisai" (White Clay Glaze), which resembles ancient ruins.
In recent years, he has also added series with highly elaborate sculptural elements.

Many of his works clearly show a strong commitment to color and texture, and their unique, unearthed-artifact-like appearance is distinctive.
This time, there are also creative ceramic works such as masks and candlesticks.

On the other hand, many of his vessels are lightweight, making them perfect for everyday use.
