Kohe Wada creates glass artworks at his studio in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Primarily using the blown glass technique, he applies his unique skills to create designs that possess elegant ornamentation, while simultaneously feeling modern and refined due to the stripped-down elements.
Many of his glass pieces feature "unlikely yet existing" shapes, offering a delightful surprise when held.
The colors of the glass itself are beautiful, and many pieces have a tall, elongated form, making them perfect not only for glassware but also for vases and bottles.
They feel light, yet their exquisite, not-too-thin thickness makes them suitable for everyday use.
This time, in addition to clear colors, he has also created pieces in his studio's original color called "Studio Gray."
This series, with its beautiful light gray hue, is also highly recommended.
