SUZUKI Hiromi White Rice Bowl

These are works by Hiromi Suzuki, a potter based in Ogoto, Mashiko-machi, Haga-gun, Tochigi Prefecture.
Suzuki focuses on creating simple pieces that are pleasant to the touch, easy to use, and complement food beautifully.

The most striking feature of her work is the delicate, beautiful, and subtle colors.
The gentle gradations reveal a variety of expressions, and the impression changes completely depending on whether they are viewed in bright or dim light.

Names like "Sakura-iro" (cherry blossom color) and "Yoi-iro" (dusk color) perfectly match the impression of the colors.
The pieces have a soft atmosphere, yet they are solid and gracefully charming.
