Okutake Goblet, diamond shape B

These are works by Taiga Oku, a glass artist working in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture.

His beautiful, transparent pieces, through which light passes, are created through blow work (blown glass).
His vessels, meticulously crafted with a focus on what constitutes beautiful form, are truly "dignified" and possess a presence that enhances any space they occupy.

"Things I use every day. Things I want to keep by my side. Simple and beautiful things."
Mr. Oku creates his works with these sentiments in mind.

Mr. Oku's works feature beautiful glass colors that shine with rainbow hues when light passes through them.
Although they have delicate forms, they also have a moderate thickness and weight, making them beautiful additions that blend into everyday life.
