Matsuoka Yoji Colored Square Bowl, Green

These are works by Youji Matsuoka, who creates from his blown glass studio in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Many of Matsuoka's vessels feature gentle, rounded designs, with some even titled "Marui" (round). In addition to his series of slightly amber-tinted clear glass, he also has a new series of colored glass. With appropriate thickness, they fit comfortably in the hand and are suitable for daily use.

When the transparent, rounded glass captures light, it creates a warm spot in the space. We hope you will experience the warmth imbued in Matsuoka's glass and find tranquility in your everyday life.
