Kumita Hinako: Small Containers B

We'd like to introduce the works of glass artist Hinako Kumita.
Ms. Kumita creates glass with a fantastical worldview.

The glass, featuring random colors and fine bubbles, is made using the "kiln casting" technique.
This technique involves packing and firing glass granules or powder to form the shape. Since a mold is used for each individual piece, it is very time-consuming and labor-intensive.
This time, in addition to plate dishes and accessory cases, we also have "glass drawers."
