Kumita Hinako iro Square Plate B

We'd like to introduce the works of glass artist Hinako Kumita.
Ms. Kumita creates glass with a fantastical worldview.

The glass, with its random colors and fine bubbles, is made using the "kiln casting" technique.
This technique involves filling a mold with glass granules or powder and firing it to shape it. Each piece requires a separate mold, making it very time-consuming and labor-intensive.
This time, in addition to plates and small containers, we also have "glass drawers."
