Based in Mure, Kagawa Prefecture, she continues to create using a wood lathe, focusing on the theme of "living with nature" and utilizing the unique character and texture of wood.

Her works, which bring out the inherent beauty of the wood grain, convey the careful attention and respect with which she approaches each piece of wood.
She also produces many pieces using iron mordant, where the wood grain is beautifully visible even in the dark colors.
