These are works by Keicondo, a ceramic artist based in Kasama.
Color has always been a major element when talking about Kei's vessels.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been working with in recent years.
Each color resonates with the others, creating a lineup where their individual charms are highlighted through various combinations.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
The "red" utilizes the natural color of the soil from Kasama, Kei's hometown.
The natural color of the soil gently emerges through firing, revealing an expression that combines both calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens one's understanding of the material.
We hope you can experience the "soil character" of Keicondo's vessels that emerges through each color.
