These are works by Keicondo, a potter working in Kasama.
Color has always been a significant element in discussing Kei's ceramics.
His signature "yellow," the quietly impactful "white," and the "green" he has been exploring in recent years.
These colors interact with each other, and their individual charms are highlighted when combined.
And this time, "red" has been added as a new color.
This "red" utilizes the natural color of the Kasama clay, Kei's hometown.
The natural color of the clay gently emerges through firing, revealing an expression that combines calmness and strength.
Adding color deepens one's understanding of the material.
We hope you can feel the "soil character" of Keicondo's ceramics that emerges through each color.
