We'd like to introduce the works of glass artist Chihiro Izumisawa.
Ms. Izumisawa has a studio in Fujimi-machi, Nagano Prefecture, where she creates her pieces.

Her works are made using the "pate de verre" technique, in which glass powder and fragments are packed and fired.
Ms. Izumisawa extracts the inherent beauty of the material while creating vessels and objects with her original sensibility.

For this exhibition, which marks the beginning of summer, she has prepared refreshing pieces.
Her works possess a mysterious charm that evokes a sense of narrative.
