We'd like to introduce the works of glass artist Chihiro Izumisawa.
Ms. Izumisawa creates her works in her studio in Fujimi Town, Nagano Prefecture.
Her works are made using a technique called "pâte de verre," which involves filling a mold with glass powder and fragments and then firing it.
Ms. Izumisawa extracts the inherent beauty of the material while creating vessels and objects with her original sensibility.
For this exhibition, which marks the beginning of summer, she has prepared a collection of refreshing works.
Ms. Izumisawa's works possess a mysterious charm that tells a story.
We invite you to experience them firsthand.
