These techniques are very labor-intensive, as they involve creating a mold from a prototype, filling it with glass paste, firing it, and then polishing the surface.
However, this technique offers a gem-like appeal with its fine bubbles, delicate color gradations, and translucent finish.

Goto, who also works with stained glass, creates pieces using various other techniques and types of glass.
