Yuka Owada Flat Plate 7-Sun Gekka

This is a work by ceramist Yuka Owada.

Ms. Owada's vessels are characterized by soft curves and delicate glazes.
They gently change their appearance in everyday light, and their presence is further felt when touched.

In addition to a series of designs mainly in black and white using smooth semi-porcelain clay, in recent years, there is also a series of elegant colors named "Gekka" (Moonlight), with a moonlit hue, and "Usuzakura" (Pale Cherry Blossom), with green-gray infused with pink.

Her works, with their delicate and beautiful forms and glazes that express subtle colors, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Ms. Owada.
