These are works by ceramic artist Yuka Owada.
Ms. Owada's vessels are characterized by their soft curves and delicate glaze.
They gently change expression in the daily light, and their presence is even more felt when touched.
In addition to her series featuring designs primarily in black and white on smooth, semi-porcelain material, in recent years, she has also developed an elegant colored series named "Gekka," which has a moonlight-like hue, and "Usuzakura," which adds pink to a green-gray.
Her captivating works, with their delicate and beautiful forms and the use of glazes that express subtle color variations, are like stories that invite viewers into the world created by Ms. Owada.
