Eriko Fujimaru Solo Exhibition “Pale in Mist”

We will be holding a solo exhibition by ceramic artist Eriko Fujimaru.
Ms. Fujimaru, who creates her pottery in Kanazawa, is known for her delicate, beautiful colors and well-proportioned, modern forms.
While retaining the soft texture of the clay, the overlapping shades of white, gray, and subtle, wavering colors avoid strong outlines, instead imbued with a soft beauty, as if veiled in mist.
They gently transform in the light, bringing a serene atmosphere to the space.
Touching the material, shaping it, and forms emerge.
This process speaks volumes, and as you continue to use the pieces, you can feel the quiet strength within them.
We invite you to experience the beauty found in such delicacy and serenity at this exhibition.

1984 Born in Shiga Prefecture
2006 Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Art, Department of Design | Worked as a graphic designer
2011 Moved to Kanazawa | Worked at atelier&gallery creava ceramic workshop
2019 Completed the Decoration Course, Practical Training Department, Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani Ware Technical Training Center
Established own studio in Kanazawa
